Quality Assurance and Support Specialist (temporary)
Test new programming changes and troubleshoot user issues on peer review and AICPA technology that interfaces with peer review’s systems. Address support tickets submitted by users of peer review systems. Write ad hoc reports utilizing tools on these systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Test peer review systems for changes and new functionality. This includes netFORUM testing, system and hardware upgrades, interfaces and conversions to ensure the results meet requirements and deadlines.

Compose thorough test scripts/cases and enter into JIRA.

Execute test cases, document test results and document defects with detailed descriptions and supporting information in JIRA.

Write ad hoc reports utilizing peer review systems, netFORUM or other report writing tools.

Assist in reviewing Phoenix, PMoF, PRISM and admin website user submitted tickets and triage tickets.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues or escalate to IT or Lead QA Specialist for resolution.

Act as a resource for programmers as questions arise related to tickets.

Assist in ensuring data integrity (fixing data/reviewing data.)

Review and clean up system data (duplicate records, irregularities, errors.)

Perform system health checks to identify production defect issues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

2-4 years’ experience in web technology and general database concepts and reporting tools

Experience with program testing processes and methodologies

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related field
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION PREFERRED

SharePoint Experience

Good database and SQL knowledge

2 years’ experience with program testing processes, methodologies and test and defect management software
